Our statutory board and committee

Our statutory board and committee

Surrey Heartlands Health and Care Partnership has two statutory elements; the Integrated Care Partnership committee, and the Integrated Care Board.

The Integrated Care Partnership committee

  • The Integrated Care Partnership committee – which brings together a broad alliance of partners, including health, local government, the community, voluntary and social enterprise sector and others, concerned with improving the care, health and wellbeing of the population.

The Integrated Care Board

  • The Integrated Care Board – known as NHS Surrey Heartlands – the NHS organisation responsible for developing a plan for meeting the health needs of the population, managing the NHS budget and arranging for the provision of health services locally.

NHS Surrey Heartlands will also take on additional functions previously held by the CCG and some additional responsibilities previously held by NHS England – such as primary care, dentistry, optometry and pharmaceutical commissioning, and additional emergency preparedness responsibilities.
