Surrey Health and Social Care Surrey-wide Commissioning Committee
The Surrey Wide Commissioning Committee exercises oversight for health and social care commissioning across Surrey including any responsibilities delegated to it from local and national partners. The Committee is outcomes led, taking into account best clinical and social care practice and the views of local people.
Committee details
This committee meets with respective committees of the NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board, a Surrey County Council Commissioning Committee and an NHS England/Improvement Officer creating a forum for bringing together representatives from those respective areas to develop and discuss proposals and make aligned decisions relating to the commissioning of Surrey health and social care services. They meet at the same time in the same place with this arrangement being known as those committees meeting in common.
