Engagement with children and young people

Surrey Heartlands is committed to working in partnership with children, young people and families to shape services that meet local needs and support better health and wellbeing outcomes.

Engagement with children, young people and families plays a key role in ensuring services are inclusive, accessible and responsive. By listening to lived experiences and involving young people in the design and development of services, Surrey Heartlands aims to deliver support that is relevant, effective and sustainable.

This approach is underpinned by strong collaboration across organisations that commission and provide services, building on local good practice and promoting joined-up working across the system.

Ongoing engagement helps to ensure that the voices of children and young people are not only heard but are central to service planning and improvement across Surrey Heartlands.
