At Surrey Heartlands we value our volunteers and appreciate the work they do for us.
Our volunteers are a committed and caring group of people. They give up a few hours of their time each week to offer their help to others.
Volunteering is a rewarding experience that can transform your life. It provides you with a new focus to gain new skills, new friends and the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping other people.
As a volunteer, you give your time for free on a regular basis to support an organisation. Volunteers do not replace staff. They work alongside staff to complete essential tasks.
We have adult volunteers of all ages, from many areas of our society and with varying experience.

GoVo digital volunteering platform
GoVo is the digital volunteering platform operated by Royal Voluntary Service through which potential volunteers and those needing volunteers can be matched. It has been developed to grow volunteering across Britain and mobilise the next generation of volunteers.
GoVo helps charities recruit and onboard volunteers. It does not replace other existing platforms but instead provides a national addition to local centres and platforms.
With input from a range of charities and organisations the platform will reduce barriers to participation by providing a flexible way of volunteering and roles that fit in with different lifestyles and interests.
