North West Surrey Health and Care Alliance are pleased to launch an app called Tribe to support our local community of Runnymede borough.

Tribe is a digital platform where residents can find out, through an app on their smart phone or on the website, what is going in their local area with activities, groups and events.

Jack Wagstaff, Place Leader / Alliance Chief Officer for North West Surrey Health and Care Alliance said:

We are very excited to have Tribe in North West Surrey, with have already been using it for our communities in Sheerwater, Goldsworth Park, Spelthorne and Woking where it has been well received.

We are one of the first integrated health and care organisations to have a tool like this and we expect it will make finding local activities, events and community groups much easier for local people to connect with one another as a community.

Cllr Chris Howorth, Chair of the Community Services Committee, Runnymede Borough Council said:

With so many essential community groups and initiatives across Runnymede I am excited that we are now part of the Tribe digital platform which will make it easier for residents to find local support and activities.

Finding new ways to connect people with services that can help improve their health and wellbeing remains one of our priorities from the Health and Wellbeing strategy.

Being part of the Tribe platform helps us achieve that and I would encourage all residents to download the app and begin to discover what groups are around them.
